K AY A,   Welcome to week 3! I can’t believe we are in week three already. The students have settled back into term 3 amazingly. I am very proud of all their achievements and how much they have grown over the year. Bring on SPRING! 🌞 Learning Intentions   for the fortnight     Spelling: Students will learn the long vowel sound with the "e" at the end in the upcoming weeks.  Writing: We look at different procedures and learn the parts to "how-to" do something.   K AY A,   Welcome back to Term 3!    We hope you all have had an excellent holiday with family, friends and memories despite the winter weather of rain and a lot of wind! We had a wonderful time, but I cannot wait to get back into Term 3 to see the 1N family and to hear the student’s stories.      Celebrating the fond farewells of the wonderful Mr Lee with you on the last week of school was wonderful.         Learning Intentions for the fortnight     Spelling: The spelling focus for the fortnight is on the phonics " ir ," as in girl; " ur ," as in fur; and "er," as in her.       Writing:   W e will look at procedure texts and how they're put together. We'll also learn the specific words used in this type of writing. Procedure texts give step-by-step instructions for doing something, like recipes or manuals. Understanding their structure and vocabulary will help us write clear and easy-to-follow instructions.       Mathe
