Term 2: weeks 3 & 4

Kaya Families,   Wow, it's incredible how swiftly the first two weeks have flown by! The students have seamlessly transitioned back into the rhythm of Term 2. Witnessing the remarkable growth in their independence since the beginning of Term 1 is truly inspiring. As we foster stronger connections and learn from one another, I'm genuinely grateful to have 21 beautifully unique children in my class. I eagerly anticipate nurturing and deepening these relationships further.   Learning intention s   English   Spelling: Over the next two weeks, we'll delve into phonics, focusing on sounds ‘y’ making ‘ i ’ as in cry and ‘ igh ’ making ‘ i ’ as in light.   Writing: we will revisit the structure of a recount.   Maths    This two-week unit develops student knowledge, understanding, and skills in the attributes and features of two-dimensional shapes.
